Liberty Lutheran Core Competency Training Program
Since 2004, this ten session training program has been providing staff with a significant educational experience centering around the organizations most valued behaviors.
Prompted by Liberty’s desire to provide a higher level of inspired care, each monthly, 8 hour segment addresses the organizations core competencies – caring and compassion, communication and listening, financial management, customer service, outcome orientation, leadership, job skills, integrity and trust. The training groups cross the organizations, giving participants the opportunity to learn with and from their colleagues.
As part of the overall effort to meet the Liberty World Class Objectives, the Core Competency Training encourages staff engagement, organizational alignment and the exceeding of our customer expectations. Liberty’s internal and external customers report significant increases in staff retention and more improved employee engagement. Training modules provide life affirming experiences for participants as well as segments devoted to management topics such as time management, performance appraisals and finance.
Core Competency Training brings the organization's mission, vision and values out of the standard organizational culture and translates them to the ways best to model these critical and valued behaviors. This training has been utilized by the American Association of Homes and Services of the Aging and the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging.
Liberty has provided Core Competency training and Leadership Development Training throughout the country. To learn more about this innovative training, please click here. |
