  Vision - Mission - Values

It is the vision of Liberty Lutheran Services that God's creative and redeeming love in Christ is being lived out in our ministry with those who are in need, so that relationships based on justice, mercy, health and wholeness are being strengthened among those who need to be lifted up and those who are led to share their gifts.

The mission of Liberty Lutheran Services is
to build up and strengthen caring communities of people

  • First and foremost, we rely on God, and on those devoted people God sends us as staff, Board, volunteers, and congregational partners, to assist us in accomplishing our mission.
  • We respect and value those people in society who are most vulnerable.
  • We are committed to develop and support integrated systems of care to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of all people.
  • We seek to foster an individual's highest practical level of independence.
  • We are rooted in diverse communities and are committed to serving each of them competently with a diverse workforce, benefiting from this variety of cultures and values.
  • We value partnerships with faith communities, especially with expressions of the Lutheran church, as a way of sharing in the mission of being God's people in the world.
  • We value the institutions of civil society and of government as necessary and God-given partners for enhancing the dignity of people.
  • We believe that we must be wise stewards of the resources and responsibilities we have been given.
  • Our services will be of the highest possible quality, with demonstrable outcomes.
  • We respect and value the people who work here to fulfill our mission, and we are committed to their growth and development.
