Liberty In Action
The commitment of Lutheran congregations and individuals has been responsible for the existence of our thriving organization today. Because of our collaborative relationships with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), Liberty continues to fulfill its mission in faith and with purpose as we create partners with congregations and communities of believers throughout the Delaware Valley. Our connection with the Southeastern PA Synod of the ELCA allows us to reach out to local congregations.
Liberty Lutheran Services also works with students and staff from the Silesian Diakony and the International Academy for Diaconia and Social Action in Czechoslovakia.

40 Churches for 40 Families 40 Churches for 40 Families is an important refugee campaign being operated through Lutheran Children and Family Service in conjunction with local synod congregations. Most of us could never imagine leaving everything behind, from our homes to our loved ones, to set out for a new country due to persecution and war. The aid of Lutheran congregations has proven to be so pivotal in helping refugees start to feel whole again. To learn more about 40 Churches for 40 Families, please contact Janet Panning, Refugee Resettlement Program Director, at 215-747-7500, extension 209, or via email.
