Let me introduce myself and why I think the work done through Liberty Lutheran Services and its affiliates is so important.

I am Larry House and I am privileged to serve Liberty Lutheran Services as V.P. for Advancement. I began serving here in 2006 after some 33 years of serving the church. I have worked at two theological seminaries and two social ministry agencies. I am a lay person in the church, called to serve as an Associate in Ministry. I have committed myself to work within the church because I believe it is there that makes an incredible impact upon addressing so many of the challenges facing our world today.

I am serving at Liberty Lutheran Services because I believe in the work we do. It is powerful. Liberty provides care for those who need assistance from prior to their birth right through to hospice care for the terminally ill.

If you care about children, families, the ill, the stranger among us, older persons, those needing rehabilitation, and those needing help to remain in their homes, to name a few of the so many in need, you will want to be a part of the work of Liberty Lutheran Services and our affiliates.

Each year we touch the lives of over 17,000 individuals living in southeastern PA!

And you will be an important part of our work! While we do receive some funding from the government and other sources, each year we provide over $4 million in care that is not part of any subsidized grant monies. That care is provided because of the gifts given by generous individuals like you.

Together we are Building Caring Communities and touching lives of individuals that need to feel your care and compassion. Your gift will make a difference.

The Liberty Legacy Society is an organization of special friends who have either made Liberty Lutheran Services or one of our Affiliates the beneficiary of a planned gift or have made a pledge or one-time gift to LLS or one of our Affiliates of at least $25,000 for the purpose of creating a named endowment fund. It's easy to become a member.

Special events are always extraordinary occasions at LLS and our Affiliates. They enable us to make more friends as well as raise necessary funds for our work.
