Liberty Lutheran Services GIFT PROCESSING AND DONOR STEWARDSHIP COORDINATOR: This position is responsible for coordinating the maintenance of the Department's database and files related to donors. Responsible for assuring that accurate records are maintained and recorded in the Raiser's Edge/fundraising database. Recording of all gifts and pledges of cash, equities, bonds or gifts in kind and for reconciling the department's records with those of the Fiscal Office. Works with the Fiscal Department's Payroll staff to ensure that donations to Liberty and its Affiliates by employees via payroll deductions are being made as requested. Coordinates and reconciles on a monthly basis the departmental records related to employee deductions with the Payroll Office. Attainment of an Associate's degree or its equivalent is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred. (Directly related work experience may be substituted for post high school education on a year for year basis up to a maximum of two years- a high school diploma or equivalency is required.) Five years of progressively responsible experience as an administrative or executive assistant, including at least one year of first hand experience in fund raising activities or two years of indirect exposure to fundraising activities in a not-for-profit organization, foundation or charity is required. Ability to work independently or with little supervision and to make sound decisions when required by the absence of the VP of Advancement. Full time. - Networks with local volunteer agencies and human service providers
- Oversees volunteer databases
- BA degree and 3 years experience with volunteer coordination and/or disaster response required.
- Knowledge of local community organizations, especially Lutheran churches, necessary.
- Networking skills required.
