Liberty Lutheran’s President and CEO, Luanne Fisher, Ph.D., of Horsham, Pa., is this year’s LeadingAge PA’s 2012 Distinguished Service Award recipient for Paul P. Haas Lifetime Achievement. The award was presented during the 2012 LeadingAge PA Annual Conference in June, in Hershey, Pa.
LeadingAge PA, formerly PANPHA, is the Pennsylvania Associations of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging that represents the interests of over 350 long-term care nursing facilities, personal care homes, housing providers and continuing care retirement communities in Pennsylvania.
The Paul P. Haas Lifetime Achievement Award is LeadingAge PA’s highest award and is presented to a distinguished individual who has demonstrated exemplary leadership, service and commitment to the association and across the state to positively impact and advance the aging services field. Luanne Fisher has dedicated her professional career to the advancement and innovation of care and services for the aging. Today she leads Liberty Lutheran, a non-profit human service organization with annual revenues of $70 million and over 1100 employees serving more than 58,000 people annually.
