As people live longer and health care costs continue to increase, some of the residents of Artman Lutheran Home and Paul's Run Retirement Community, despite responsible planning, outlive their assets. It is our faith-based commitment never to ask anyone to leave our care when that happens. The Artman Benevolent Care Fund and Paul's Run Fellowship Fund allow us to keep that commitment, thus providing them with peace and security for the rest of their lives. The annual costs to provide this on-going care total nearly $750,000. Your gifts help to ensure our ability to continue to meet these needs. Lutheran Children and Family Service (LCFS) enables struggling families to meet the challenges of living in today's world. We support children in need of foster care and/or adoption. We assist inner city families with after school activities, parenting programs and social work and nursing support. We care for an increasing number of refugees and survivors of torture and assist them in assimilating into American life. The cost of providing these and other services to families and children increases each year. Your gifts will help to ensure our ability to continue to meet these needs.
